Kingsleys Steak and Crabhouse, Eagle Street Pier, BRISBANE QLD 4000

The bunnies have came back from Part 1 of our honeymoon and we both missed my parents terribly and decided to take them to Kingsleys Steak and Crabhouse for a nice and relaxing dinner.

I've been living in Brisbane for a while now but I had never been to the restaurant before. So Kingsleys was on the other travel bunnie's to-try list for a long time.

Our table was booked last night. As the weather has been quite rough for the past few days, we opted for a table inside of the restaurant with a view of the river.

The dinner was lovely and the service was wonderful. We started the meal with lamb ribs ($16) and crab cakes ($19.90) for entrées. The ribs were extremely juicy and tasty, albeit slightly fatty. The other travel bunnie and I shared a Singaporean chilli mud crab (market price - $69.90), while my parents had the crispy salmon ($29.90) and rib-eye fillet ($39.90) with a side of green beans and almonds ($9). The other travel bunnie and I thoroughly enjoyed the mud crab and let just say that we did not waste any of that delicious chilli sauce, including the residual on our fingers.

Hmm, what a great way to ease into after-work life on a Tuesday night.

Total Bunnie Dollars Spent: $234.45.
