A
while ago a colleague of mine found a deal on the internet for a
discounted Italian cooking class and we all decided to do it as a
team bonding session.
The
cooking class was held at Stella Star, an Italian restaurant located
in Cooparoo. It went for two hours and we were supposed to learn how
to make spinach and ricotta tortellini as well as profiteroles. It
was a hot day, our lack of expertise had slowed our progress and we
didn't eve get an opportunity to get hands-on experience in making
the profiteroles. I was disappointed and thought that learning one
dish for $49 was too expensive.
The
bonus was, we got to taste the finish product. I loved the way that
the tortellini was cooked, simple yet flavourful with butter, sage
and parmesan cheese.
I
think I'll make pasta for dinner sometime this week…
